Privacy Policy

1. Information we collect

We collect the following categories of information:

• Account information. The details you provide, such as your name, email address, avatar, handle, and authentication information. When you sign in with GitHub or Google, we receive basic profile details and a provider-specific account identifier to authenticate you. We do not request access to your Google Drive or Gmail.
• User content. The organizations and projects you create, your visualizations and their revision history, the datasets you upload, and other materials you submit through the Service.
• Operational and usage data. Information needed to operate the product, such as AI credit consumption, billing and subscription status, and security and audit logs.
• Analytics data. Information about how you use the Service, as described in the Analytics section below.
• Lead-form information. If you apply to the Founding Design Partner program, the details you submit so we can contact you.

2. Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how people use VizHub, such as which pages are visited, how users navigate the Service, and general information about devices and usage. Google Analytics may use cookies and similar identifiers and may receive information such as your IP address, device or browser information, and interactions with the Service. Google processes this information on our behalf in accordance with its privacy terms. We use this information to measure and improve the Service. We do not send your VizHub prompts, visualization contents, datasets, or other project content to Google Analytics.

You can control cookies through your browser settings and opt out of Google Analytics using Google's Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

3. How we use information

We use the information we collect to:

• operate, maintain, and secure the Service;
• provide AI features and process your requests;
• manage billing, subscriptions, and AI credits;
• provide support, investigate security incidents, and prevent abuse;
• measure and improve the Service through analytics; and
• send transactional communications and, where permitted, marketing communications.

4. Service providers

We share personal information with service providers that process it on our behalf to operate the Service, including:

• Infrastructure, payment, and email providers. Providers that host the Service, process payments and subscriptions, and deliver email.
• AI providers. When you request an AI edit, your prompt and the relevant file or dataset content are sent to third-party AI providers (via OpenRouter and the underlying model providers) so they can generate a result. Do not include confidential or sensitive information in prompts unless you are comfortable with that processing.
• Google Analytics. As described in the Analytics section above.

5. Sharing and retention

We do not sell your personal information. Service providers process information on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes except as necessary to provide their services or comply with law. We retain personal information as reasonably necessary to operate the Service, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

6. Your choices and contact

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by emailing curran@vizhub.com. You can control cookies through your browser settings and opt out of Google Analytics using the opt-out add-on linked above.
