U.S. Unemployment Rates by State (2022) This project
visualizes the unemployment rates in the US in 2022 using a
bubble map. Each bubble's size and color represent the
unemployment rate for each state. The data is sourced from
the @oabouhas/unemployment
package.
Features Interactive Map:
Displays U.S. states with bubbles representing unemployment rates. Bubble size and color intensity correlate with the unemployment rate. Hovering over bubbles shows tooltips with state names and unemployment rates. Title:
A clear title, "U.S. Unemployment Rates by State (2022)," is displayed at the top of the graph. Color Scale Legend:
A dynamic gradient scale on the right side of the graph. Indicates the range of unemployment rates, from minimum to maximum values. Zoom and Pan:
Users can zoom in and out to focus on specific regions. Panning allows exploration of different areas of the map.
