This example visualizes park-and-ride facility capacities across Dutch cities by binding data from a remote JSON file to an SVG chart. The code fetches NDW open data via `d3.json`, processes the nested specifications and operator fields with custom helper functions, and formats the results for a bar chart. Although the chart’s axes and scales are prepared with `d3.scaleLinear`, `d3.scaleBand`, `d3.axisLeft`, and `d3.axisBottom`, the main drawing routine is left incomplete, focusing instead on data cleaning and structure. The page uses D3 v6 and renders directly to SVG elements.
