A single orange arc is drawn inside an SVG canvas, spanning a quarter circle with defined inner and outer radii. The example demonstrates the `d3.arc()` API from D3 v7, which generates path data for annulus sectors. The code creates an arc generator, passes angle and radius parameters to compute the `d` attribute, and appends the resulting path to an SVG `<g>` element using D3's selection and append methods. The arc is filled solid orange against a blank background.
