This visualization combines a bubble map and a time-series histogram to explore global migrant deaths and disappearances. The map projects incident locations using a natural Earth projection, with circle size scaled by the square root of the total dead and missing. Below, a date histogram aggregates reported incidents by month, summing casualties. Built with React and D3 v6, the example uses `geoNaturalEarth1` and `geoPath` for map rendering, while `scaleSqrt`, `scaleTime`, and `bin` handle proportional sizing and time binning. Data comes from a CSV of global migrant incidents.
