This example shows a world map colored by each country’s economy classification, using a natural Earth projection rendered as SVG. Users can pan and zoom the map via d3.zoom. The visualization loads TopoJSON and TSV data from the world-atlas package, joins them by ISO country codes, and maps economy values to a d3.scaleOrdinal with a d3.schemeSpectral range. Countries display tooltips with their names on hover.
