This example shows three nodes—Alice, Bob, and Carol—connected by two links in a small network graph. The force-directed layout uses d3.forceSimulation to apply a many-body repulsive force, a link force, and a centering force. The simulation runs on SVG circles and lines, updating their coordinates on each tick. The code uses the d3 selection API and explicit force configuration to position the nodes, with a coral background in the container.
