This fork of a bar chart renders United Nations population data for ten countries using React and D3. The visualization maps country names to the vertical axis with a band scale and population to the horizontal axis with a linear scale, drawing SVG rectangles for each bar. It loads the CSV data from a GitHub gist, parsing the 2020 population column, and uses `d3.csv` and the `useData` hook to fetch and slice the dataset.
