This example shows a parallel coordinates plot for 2023 world data, with four numeric axes (GDP per capita, energy per capita, CO₂ per capita, renewable share) colored by region. A legend identifies regions, and buttons toggle between two axis orders by swapping the third and fourth dimensions. The code uses d3.csv to load sample data, d3.scalePoint and d3.scaleLinear for positioning, and d3.axisLeft for axis rendering. Lines are drawn as SVG paths with a d3.line generator, styled with d3.schemeTableau10 colors.
