This visualization displays the first 20 countries from a COVID-19 dataset, showing their reported case counts as horizontal bars. Built with React and D3 v5, it uses `d3.scaleBand` for the categorical country axis and `d3.scaleLinear` for the numeric case count axis, rendering SVG rectangles. The data is loaded asynchronously via `d3.csv` from a GitHub gist, with tick marks and labels generated manually from the scale domains.
