This example displays a map of the United States using state boundaries and graticules, rendered as SVG via React. It shows the nation’s outline as a colored sphere with state interiors highlighted in red. The code uses `d3.geoAlbers`, `d3.geoPath`, and `d3.geoGraticule` to project and draw the geographic features, while `topojson.feature` and `topojson.mesh` extract land and interior boundaries from the us-atlas TopoJSON. Data loads asynchronously using `d3.json`.
