A bowl of fruit demonstrates an animated data join. Apples and lemons appear, change, and shrink away as the dataset updates, with a click selecting a fruit and outlining it in black. The example uses D3 v5 with SVG, applying `selection.data`, `enter`, `merge`, and `exit` for transitions. Dynamic styling uses `attr` with transition, while click handlers update a highlighted selection.
