A line of blue circles moves in a sine wave across the viewport, created by mapping 200 points with an animated phase offset. The example uses the `select` and `range` functions from D3 v6 to build an SVG scene, where `setInterval` and `join` manage the creation and updating of circle elements at 60 frames per second, animating their horizontal and vertical positions.
