This example displays a world map using an equirectangular projection, with countries rendered as lime-green SVG paths with dark outlines and a teal sphere background. Built with D3.js v5 and TopoJSON, it loads country boundaries from a world-atlas JSON dataset and uses `d3.geoPath` with `geoEquirectangular` to generate the geographic shapes. Hovering over a country highlights it in a light beige color via a CSS `:hover` rule.
