This example recreates a Sol LeWitt-style geometric composition using two overlapping sets of striped rectangles: one set of horizontal bars and one of vertical bars. The bars are selectively revealed through two circular SVG masks, creating a layered grid pattern with a central circular intersection. The visualization is built with D3.js, using `select`, `range`, and data joins to generate 100 rectangles in each direction, and `mask` elements with `circle` shapes to control visibility. The piece is rendered as an SVG that fills the entire browser window.
