This example displays a natural Earth projection of the world map, with landmasses rendered in light blue and graticules in a darker blue, upon which cities are plotted as semi-transparent green circles sized by population using a square-root scale. The map is drawn with D3’s `geoPath`, `geoNaturalEarth1`, and `geoGraticule` projections, while city data is loaded from a CSV file and world topology from a JSON atlas. React manages the SVG rendering, updating the visualization once both datasets are fetched.
