This example shows the population percentage change in the USA from 1960 to 2020 as a red line chart over a time-scaled x-axis and linear y-axis, with gridlines and labeled axes for Year and Percentage. The visualization renders as an SVG using D3 v5, with data loaded from a CSV file hosted on GitHub. The code builds the chart using d3.scaleTime, d3.scaleLinear, d3.axisBottom, d3.axisLeft, and d3.line, and applies margins to position the plot area within a 900x350 SVG.
