This visualization displays the top 10 most populous countries as a bar chart with axes. The bars represent each country’s 2020 population, using data from the United Nations World Population Prospects 2019. Built with React and rendered as SVG, it uses d3.scaleBand for the categorical y-axis and d3.scaleLinear for the quantitative x-axis, with d3.csv loading the dataset. Axis components and marks are separate React components, and the chart updates when new data loads.
