This example displays a simple line chart of the number of cars sold in millions over time, using temporal data for the x-axis and quantitative data for the y-axis. Built with Vega-Lite, it loads a CSV from a GitHub gist and renders the visualization through Vega-Embed, which handles the parsing and drawing of the chart from the JSON specification. The chart is given a fixed width of 360 pixels and uses a red—or default—line mark to connect the data points across the years.
