This visualization shows a world map where each country is filled with circular dot patterns of varying density, using the size and spacing of the dots to represent population ranges from the world_population.csv dataset. The geographic boundaries come from a GeoJSON file, rendered as SVG paths via d3.geoPath and the d3.geoMercator projection. A d3.scaleThreshold maps population intervals to pre-defined textures generated by the textures library, specifically textures.circles with different radii. The project uses d3.v4 alongside React, applying the fill attribute to each path based on the matched population bin.
