A grid of randomly generated smiley faces appears, each with a blue circular head, green outline, white-eyed expressions, and a varying mouth arc. The faces are created using React components that compose a face container, background circle, eyes, and mouth, with D3’s `arc` generator for the mouth path. The `range` function from d3 creates the grid count, while `Math.random` drives per-face variations in eye position, size, and mouth curvature. The SVG output is rendered by ReactDOM into the page.
