This example displays a map of the United States using a natural Earth projection fitted to the country’s geometry. It loads world atlas data from a CDN, extracts the U.S. feature via TopoJSON, and renders it as an SVG path with d3.geoPath. The code uses d3.json and d3.geoNaturalEarth1 to project and size the map to 960 by 500 pixels.
