This interactive donut chart visualizes the top 20 most committed crimes in Los Angeles City by case count, displaying the top nine categories alongside an aggregated "Others" slice. Clicking the "Others" arc replaces the main chart with a zoomed view of the remaining crime types, allowing deeper exploration of the dataset. The visualization, built with Vue and D3 v6, uses an SVG-based pie generator and arc generator for rendering, with a Tableau10 color scale, tooltips on hover, and a reset button to return to the main view. The underlying data comes from a JSON file of crime statistics.
