This choropleth visualizes LGBTQ+ Equity Index scores across the globe, coloring each country by its legal index, opinion index, or overall equity rank from Equaldex data. Built with D3 v5 and TopoJSON, the map uses `geoNaturalEarth1` projection, `geoPath` for country shapes, and `zoom` for interactive panning. Hovering reveals a tooltip with country statistics, while an on-screen legend allows switching between the three data modes with animated color scale transitions.
