A bubble map projects each incident’s coordinates with circle radii scaled by the square root of the death count, overlaid on a natural Earth land and graticule backdrop. Below, a date histogram bins the same data monthly, showing total deaths per bin. Brushing the histogram with `d3.brushX` filters the map’s circles by the selected date range. The implementation combines `d3.geoNaturalEarth1` for projection, `d3.scaleSqrt` for sizing, and React with `d3.csv` data loading.
