This example renders a partial smiley face using SVG, with a yellow circle for the head, two small circles for eyes, and an arc for a mouth. The face is centered on a 960 by 500 canvas, and the component leverages React for structure and D3’s `d3.arc()` API to generate the mouth’s path. Everything is drawn with SVG primitives, and the canvas dimensions and element positions are hardcoded in the React component. Halfway towards face, it shows the initial construction stage of the character.
