This fork of a line chart visualizes US auto sales from 2005 to 2022, drawing a single red path across a year-based time axis against a sales-value linear axis. The D3 v5 code uses `scaleTime`, `scaleLinear`, `axisBottom`, `axisLeft`, and the `line` generator to construct the SVG rendering, and imports data from a raw GitHub CSV file. Both axes include labeled tick marks and the chart displays its title and axis labels.
