This example presents an interactive scatter plot of Fisher’s Iris dataset, visualizing sepal length against petal length with point shapes distinguishing the three species. Built with D3 v7, it uses `d3.scaleLinear` for the axes, `d3.scaleOrdinal` with `symbolsFill` to encode species as distinct symbols, and custom modules `axes.js` and `shapeLegend.js` to generate a labeled legend. Data is fetched as CSV and parsed with `d3.csvParse`, with numeric fields coerced before rendering.
