This piece reproduces a Sol LeWitt wall drawing by layering horizontal and vertical stripes that are visible only within a circular region at the center of the canvas. The code builds an SVG scene using the `createElementNS` API to construct rectangles grouped into two sets, each masked by a dedicated SVG `mask`. One mask reveals a filled circle over a black background, while the other inverts the mask, producing a negative-space effect where the stripes appear both inside and outside the circle.
