This visualization displays a family tree as an animated, zoomable SVG diagram, with nodes colored by generation type and labeled with names. It uses D3.js v3 and jQuery, loading hierarchical data from a JSON file. The layout is computed with `d3.layout.tree`, and nodes are rendered as rounded rectangles with embedded HTML via `foreignObject`. Links include directional arrows, and interactions support clicking to collapse subtrees and mouse-wheel zooming, driven by `d3.behavior.zoom`.
