The visualization includes a light blue sphere background and a gray graticule showing latitude and longitude lines. Using D3.js v7, the map loads TopoJSON country boundaries from the world-atlas package and converts them to GeoJSON with topojson-client. D3's geoNaturalEarth1 projection, geoPath, and geoGraticule APIs generate the projected paths and coordinate grid.
