A static SVG drawing depicts the first stage of a smiley face: a large yellow circle with a black outline, centered on a 960 by 500 canvas, and two solid black circles representing eyes. The SVG elements are created directly in HTML markup, with the circle radii and positions computed from the canvas height and center coordinates. The page also includes a small JavaScript console message, but no interactive behavior is implemented.
