This example displays a standalone SVG map of India, rendered using a Mercator projection fitted to the country’s boundaries. It loads world country geometries from the `world-atlas` TopoJSON dataset via `d3.json`, extracts the India feature with `topojson.feature`, and draws it using `d3.geoPath`. The map is centered using `projection.fitSize` and appended to the page as a single path element.
