This example demonstrates a reusable scatter plot that cycles through different iris dataset columns every two seconds, updating the x-axis mapping while keeping sepal width on the y-axis. The visualization uses D3’s `scaleLinear`, `scaleOrdinal`, `symbol`, and `transition` APIs to animate the entrance of symbols and smoothly transition axes, with species shown via distinct symbol shapes. Data is loaded from a CSV of the classic iris flowers dataset, and the chart is rendered as an SVG inside a React application.
