This example displays a horizontal bar chart of population data for twenty countries in 2010. The visualization uses React with SVG rendering, while D3’s scaleBand and scaleLinear handle the categorical and linear axes, respectively. The code loads CSV data from a GitHub repository using d3.csv, applies a custom SI format to abbreviate population values, and includes tooltips via SVG title elements. Blue tick lines and green bars are styled through CSS.
