This example displays a choropleth-style map of the United States, with each state filled in red and state boundaries drawn as black lines, using an SVG rendering. The map relies on D3’s `geoPath` and the `geoAlbersUsaTerritories` projection to render geographic features from TopoJSON data loaded via `topojson.feature` and `topojson.mesh`. React manages the component state through the `useData` hook, while CSS hover effects change a state’s fill color to blue. The data source is the `us-atlas@3.0.0` states-10m.json file.
