This example presents a bar chart of country populations from a 2015 CSV dataset. The visualization uses the Vega-Lite API to define a bar mark with country names on the x-axis sorted by descending population, and a quantitative population scale on the y-axis with a zero baseline disabled. The chart is rendered as an SVG via vega-lite-api, with the view dimensions set to fill the window and custom axis and label styling applied from a config object. Tooltips display country names on hover.
