This visualization shows 2018 general project funding items stacked by institution nature, using a horizontal stacked bar chart where each bar represents a sub-category and segments show consumer, corporate, and home office splits. The code uses d3.layout.stack for layering, d3.svg.axis for scales, d3.legend for color coding, and d3-tip for hover tooltips. Hovering over legend entries fades base bars and re-renders matching segments in the foreground. Data comes from items1(3).csv, with SVG rendering and animated transitions on hover.
