A yellow smiley face rendered with SVG in a React app uses D3's `arc` generator for the mouth path. The face consists of a yellow circle with a black stroke, two smaller black circles for eyes, and a D3-generated arc path for the mouth. The code combines React for the component structure and D3's `arc` API for the path data, drawn on an 800x600 canvas.
