This bubble chart visualizes the distribution of movie ratings across six genres, plotting the proportion of ratings between 5.0–6.5 on the x-axis, 6.5–7.5 on the y-axis, and using circle radius to encode the share of ratings above 8.5. Genre categories are color-coded using an ordinal scale. The visualization is built with D3.js v6, using scaleLinear for all three encodings and SVG circles for rendering. Hovering over a circle triggers a tooltip displaying the exact proportions for that genre. Data is loaded asynchronously from a remote CSV file.
