This example visualizes the Missing Migrants Dataset, with each circle representing a single event and its radius encoding the total number of dead and missing. The map uses a natural Earth projection rendered as SVG paths via `d3.geoPath`, with graticules and country boundaries from World Atlas TopoJSON. Circle marks are positioned using the projection and scaled with `d3.scaleSqrt`. The React app loads data asynchronously with `d3.csv` and `d3.json` through custom hooks.
