This example demonstrates the d3-annotation library by rendering four labeled annotations on a blank SVG canvas, each with distinct connector styles, note wrapping, and alignment settings. The annotations include basic labels, arrow and dot connector ends, a curved connector, and a circular callout type, all colored pink. Built with D3 v7 and the d3-annotation plugin, the code uses `d3.annotation()` and `d3.annotationLabel` to position notes via explicit x, y, dx, and dy coordinates without any scales or data binding. The SVG background and Lato font styling are defined inline in the HTML.
