This interactive scatter plot explores the relationship between selected air pollutants and respiratory disease death rates. Users choose a cause of death and a pollutant from dropdown menus, and the visualization updates dynamically, showing each year as a labeled data point. The code loads a CSV dataset from GitHub using D3.js (d3.csv) and renders the chart with Plotly’s `Plotly.newPlot` API, using teal markers and text annotations for each year. The interface is built with plain HTML and JavaScript event listeners.
