This example presents a donut-style pie chart that visualizes the distribution of smartphone types from a CSV dataset, labeling each slice with its category and count. The chart uses D3 v5’s `d3.pie` generator and `d3.arc` to compute and draw the arcs, with a categorical color scale from `d3.scaleOrdinal` and `d3.schemeCategory10` to differentiate slices. A legend is added to the right, and the data is loaded via `d3.csv` from a GitHub gist.
