This interactive SVG map displays EU contributions for four technology categories (AI, Advanced Connectivity, Energy, and Biotechnology) as proportional pie charts at the country level. The visualization uses the `eurostat-map` library with a `pieChart` map type, scaling the pies between 6 and 35 pixels in radius based on the contribution amounts in million EUR. Country-level data is injected via `map.statData` and rendered with NUTS level 0 boundaries, color-coded categories, and a legend.
