This example visualizes a smart-home cleaning robot’s connectivity network as an interactive force-directed graph. Eight labeled nodes (Robot, Wi-Fi Router, Cloud API, etc.) are linked by edges representing data flow, local map writes, docking, and firmware updates. The layout is computed with d3.forceSimulation, using d3.forceLink for edge distances, d3.forceManyBody for repulsion, and a drag handler that fixes node positions during interaction. The scene is rendered as SVG lines and circles, with tick updates translating node positions and updating link coordinates. The source is a static array of node and link objects defined inline in the HTML.
