This example loads and parses CSS Named Colors CSV data, displaying a summary of the dataset’s size, row count, and column count in a large monospaced text block. It primarily uses d3.csv to fetch and parse the remote CSV file, then computes the formatted data’s length in kilobytes via d3.csvFormat. The code also shows commented alternatives using fetch, async/await, and d3.csvParse, as well as a nested promise “pyramid of doom” pattern, to illustrate different approaches to asynchronous data loading within a React context.
