This visualization shows the frequency of finishes for NASCAR car makers, with each circle representing a finish position and its size and color encoding the frequency of that result. Built with Vega-Lite and the vega-lite-api wrapper, it plots car makers on the x-axis against finish positions on the y-axis, using a circle’s size and color intensity to convey how often each maker achieved a given finish. The data is loaded from a remote CSV via d3.csv, and the chart is rendered as an SVG, with custom axis and label styles defined in a config object to improve readability.
