Five apples in a bowl transition through a timed sequence of removal, type change, and addition, while a click toggles a selection state indicated by a black stroke. The visualization uses D3 v5 with a data join that animates enter, update, and exit selections via `transition()`. A fruit is rendered as a circle and text within a `g` element, positioned on a green bowl-shaped `rect` that resizes with the data count.
