A red Voronoi overlay, generated with `d3.Delaunay` and `d3.delaunay.voronoi`, is drawn on top of the chart to illustrate a spatial partitioning of the plotting area, though its hover handler only logs to the console. The React-based visualization uses `d3.scaleTime`, `d3.scaleLog`, and `d3.line` with SVG rendering. Data comes from the Johns Hopkins Coronavirus time-series CSV.
